Orientation Day

Placement Begins + Induction Week
Learn about Elanco, its purpose and history, and get to know your fellow students.
Corporate Culture & Ways of Working
Explore global teams, workplace culture, and how we work together.
Insights Discovery®
Use Insights Discovery® profiling as a framework for self-understanding and developing relationships with others.
Global Day of Service (GDOS)
A day in the local community giving back to good causes.
Mentor Selection
Choose the mentor(s) that you want to keep in touch with regularly to talk about your career, your work, and get any help or advice you need.
Presentation Roulette
A friendly session designed to help students think on their feet and develop presentation skills.
Celebration of Success Event
Celebrate the successes of the year at an event around the festive season.
Elanco Hackathon
Take part with the wider Elanco team in a day-long hackathon to create an innovative solution.
6 Month Review
A detailed discussion with your manager about your work and performance during the first six months.
Wellbeing Month & Wellbeing Day
Time to reflect on wellbeing and maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
End of Placement Celebration
Come together with the other students to recognise achievements, progress and personal development.
12 Month Review
A detailed discussion and review with your manager about your work and performance at the end of your placement.
Placement Ends
Your placement year officially comes to an end after 12 months with Elanco.
